Yesterday afternoon, Ithaca Taking Action held a meeting in downtown Ithaca to continue its work of organizing responses to the election of Donald Trump. Working groups deliberated and planned actions on a wide range of topics ranging from climate, legislative outreach, teach-ins, youth organization, media projects, and coordination with other groups.
Responses to Tom Reed’s decision to take time away from constituent services in order to work in the Trump transition were also discussed.
For the present, the group’s communication will continue to take place through Facebook, but look for a web site, with calls to action, working group forums and more, in the near future.
Meeting minutes will soon be available to members of Ithaca Taking Action.
